Merry Christmas to all, and to all …
This morning brings an early wake up call, with a 6am flight to Baltimore, MD. Then a nice casual 2 or 3 hour drive to Salisbury from there. I’m expecting a journey of sorts, since its Christmas Eve and all. Must be one of the busiest travel days of the year and we’re probably nuts for doing it, but whatever it takes to get home. I’m looking forward to a nice relaxing couple of days, and I know Mom and Dad will be happy to see us as well. Someday we need to work on this distance thing, but that’s another story.
I’ll be spending the next few days in Maryland so hopefully I’ll get some more cool large pictures of the beach and area. I’m thinking of doing a theme one with the family, but we’ll see how it goes.

Ok, so I felt like screaming, and that’s the best I could think of to get your attention over the freakin’ internet. Kind of worked huh?! Well maybe … fuck it, I’m probably just amusing myself, but whatever.
So here’s to 36, my it be better than 35, and not nearly as good as 37! And yes I’m going in that direction. Up, err, or, um down depending on where you’re personal horizontal axis is at this point in the space time continuum. Mine, its up, sort of. I’m sitting on pins and needles right now, waiting to hear if I re qualify for the home and all that jazz. So needless to say I have my friend Cornoa at my side and we’re having a pissing match to see who can read the bottle of the bottle first. He keeps winning … limy bastard …
Anyway, I hope everyone has a good 19th and remember to spade and neuter your pets. Thank you very much kids, goodnight.
Home at last
I’m finally home and resting right next to my girls. Bunny and Paloma have been my shadows since I returned from Atlanta. Aww … at least they are until I start hacking like an old man. Seems I am still a little under the weather and am actually headed out the door to the doctors office. I hate to go for just a virus, since there’s not much an antibiotic will do for that right?! But this cough has got to go!
So for now I’m off to my appointment. I added a bunch of new panoramic pictures to that section, and many of these have never been put together or seen until now. I finished all that I had last night while working on the Christmas book for my parents. Seems I have 89 of them now. So have a look, you might even see something you recognize … see ya’ kids.
Sick in Atlanta
I found myself feeling like crap the other day and it seems to have gotten a little worse. I feel like I have the flu coming on or something like that. You know, the usual aches and pains and fever. A hell of a thing to have while on the road working. Luckily Scotty saw me yesterday morning and said to go back to bed for a few more hours. It certainly helped me get through the rest of the day. But I tell you what it was NyQuil time after that! I have to keep reminding myself that you’re supposed to take a cap full and not a swig of the stuff. But what the hell, at least its putting me to sleep.
So besides that things have been moving along steadily I guess. I’ve booked the flights for Bryan and I to go home for Christmas and we’re working on the gift ideas. We’re chronically late with this type of thing so for us to be doing something now is a serious change of pace. With all that they have done for me in the past fifteen months I have to do something. I would not have the house or much else if it wasn’t for them stepping in when the shit hit the fan.
One idea I was toying with was a book of photos Bryan and I have taken over the year of the places we’ve been and things we’ve seen. We don’t get to spend much time with our parents since they live so far away so maybe this would let them know what we were doing during the year. I can make the book fairly easily with the new iphoto and order it from Apple. Kind of nuts. I don’t know maybe its a silly idea, we’ll see.

It’s been a while
Wow I haven’t posted in a while. I guess I have been busy and lazy regarding the posts, oh well, sorry.
So tonight I am in Atlanta, GA trying in vain to get tired and sleep so I can get up at 3am for work. I am going in as part of the night crew to make sure 41 rooms get turned over and remain on the network. It sounds crazy to go to work at that hour, but I am kind of looking forward to it. I like the ‘Combat AV’ stuff that has been thrown my way lately. It makes the days interesting and go much faster. Plus who doesn’t like a challenge, right?!
Christmas is coming up real quick now. I’m trying to get in the spirit, but the holidays still kind of suck. This year sounds like it might be fun with going to Maryland and meeting up with a few old friends. Hopefully I’ll be having a drink with people I haven’t seen since high school. Pretty nuts how long ago that was. With a little luck the schedules will collide, but everybody is busy these days, me included. We’ll see.
